Late Post | Winter Season Stayed in a campsite back in January in our camper van. Such a great Texas State Park! Well maintained and the bathrooms were clean. Did a couple of trails and even saw an armadillo! Also, love that they have a little free library where you can take…
Great state park. Has something for everyone. Great trails for hiking and biking. The staff are great. Park is clean and well taken care of. The only negative is the high cost of the green firewood. $12 for 5pcs is a little ridiculous. Had a great 5 days.site 66.
Beautiful land, and great views. Some of the coolest rock formations I have seen. Park was clean and friendly staff. Hiking trails are marked well and I had no problems navigating. I’ll definitely be back to hike some more!
Really enjoyed my visit to Lake Mineral Wells State Park. The park was clean, the trails were well‑marked, and everything felt well cared for. I’m planning to come back so I can hike the Trailway next time. This park was number 51 in my journey to hike all 89 Texas state parks.
