Did a lost pines loop on weekend. The north part of the trail goes deep into the forest. The South part is more on the open. A few CCC buildings on the route, a few people on the route. Very peaceful.
Really nice hiking trails. Very dry at the moment. Not far off the road, so there is some road noise. The staff here are really helpful and kind. We enjoyed our few days here, and will definitely stay again in future. We bugged out a bit early because of the freezing weather…
