Who qualifies as a Small Commercial Customer?▼
In Texas (ERCOT), your business must be classified as a small nonresidential premise in the ERCOT database and have a commercial meter. Most small businesses, retail locations, offices, and service providers qualify.
Can I enroll online?▼
Currently, new Small Commercial Customers in Texas must enroll by calling your Ambit Energy Business Consultant at (361) 788-3521. This ensures your business gets personalized service and the right rate plan.
What if I have multiple business locations?▼
Great news! You can add additional locations (ESI-IDs) to your existing account by calling Customer Service at (877) 455-7575. You can choose to have separate accounts for each location or bundle all locations under one Ambit Account Number for simplified billing.
Are there any switching fees?▼
Ambit Energy does not charge switching fees. However, your local TDU (Transmission and Distribution Utility) may charge service fees, which will be passed on to you if applicable. We'll let you know about any potential fees during enrollment.
What are your customer service hours?▼
Small Commercial Customer service is available Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM Central Time. Our dedicated team is ready to assist with enrollment, billing questions, and account management.
